Apple season is here and I’m over here baking all things apple! These cookies are a combination of two of my favorites – apple cider donuts and apple fritters! If you love a soft and cakey cookie, then these are for you. These aren’t a crunchy cookie. The consistency is more along the lines of my scones, if you’ve tried those!

I made the same salted caramel glaze from my apple cinnamon roll pull-apart loaf using Whipzi salted caramel powdered sugar. I love Whipzi because they have such cool flavors of powdered sugar, but also because they are a small, woman-owned business! They generously offer my readers a 15% discount on their site with my code SARAH15. If you want to make the glaze with plain powdered sugar, I would go with a vanilla glaze and I included that in my recipe below for you.
I hope that you’re able to make these and that you love them! For more fall favorites check out my pumpkin bread and my pumpkin cheesecake hand pies.
